Avantika Gurung of Pittsburgh, Pa., graduated from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa. on May 20, during the 2013 Commencement Ceremony held at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Pittsburgh, Pa. Gurung graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture .

This year's Commencement Ceremony celebrated the graduation of Chatham's 143rd class of undergraduate women and its 21st class of graduate women and men. Commencement exercises included include graduates from each of the University's three colleges: Chatham College for Women (undergraduate), the College for Graduate Studies, and the College for Continuing and Professional Studies.
